Over the last year, the COVID-19 pandemic has had an outsized impact on people of color, who are more likely to work frontline jobs and live in multigenerational homes, and are less likely to have access to medical care.

But the vaccine is here. The vaccine works. The vaccine is safe.

And with availability steadily increasing, it is more important than ever that all of our neighbors, friends, family and coworkers get the word.

New Americans Advisory Commission Hosts COVID-19 Vaccine Education Series


The Bucks County New Americans Advisory Commission (NAAC) invites the members of the Indian, Middle Eastern, Guana, Liberian, North-East Asian and Pacific Islander, Hispanic, Russian, and Turkish communities to a Zoom education series to learn more about the safety and efficacy of the Covid-19 Vaccine with host Dr. Umar Farooq, chair of the NAAC, and other community leaders. The purpose of the series is to provide communities of color and those that speak English as a second language the opportunity to ask questions about the COVID-19 vaccines in order to build confidence; protect themselves, and protect their family, friends, and co-workers.
